I have always wanted to write a novel and in 2020, I FINALLY finished my first novel, Love Ordained. This is book one of A Divine Love Series, and I can’t wait for you all to read it and fall in love with the characters as much I have. This book was 20 years in the making–yes 20 years! Though, for much of that time, I did no work on it, yet it was always in my head. I picked it back up in late 2019 for a few months then put it down again. During a trip with a dear friend in February 2020, she said why haven’t you finished your book? It was something my husband had also been asking me, and I wondered myself. The rest is history, so to speak. I went home and started writing and had it finished about a month later. Once I set my mind to something, I put a plan of action together and I do it–and I am so glad I did.
I have been a Christian from a very young age, yet when I first got the idea for this book it was just a romance. But over the last several years, I knew God wanted more for me. I had a full time job as an editorial director that I loved, and am still there after 23 years. But, I knew there was more I could be doing to further his Kingdom. The next time I sat down to work on the novel, I said this is going to be a Christian romance and never looked back. I know this is the story God wanted me to tell. I hope you all enjoy it.
